The rapping system is a core cleaning system for dry and wet electrostatic precipitators.
It mainly consists of a rapping motor, rapping shaft, hammers, bearing housings,
and transmission components, and is divided into two main modules: anode rapping and cathode rapping.

Utilizing a fixed-point periodic mechanical rapping principle, the rapping force is uniform and the frequency is stable. It can completely remove the dust layer from the surface of the electrode plates and wires, ensuring thorough cleaning without dead corners and preventing faults such as electric field short circuits, flashovers, and decreased dust removal efficiency caused by dust accumulation.
The entire system is constructed from thickened carbon steel, featuring wear-resistant and impact-resistant rapping hammers and a rigid drive shaft capable of withstanding high-frequency reciprocating rapping loads for extended periods. It is resistant to deformation, breakage, and wear, making it suitable for continuous 24-hour industrial operation.
It boasts strong adaptability to various operating conditions, including high-temperature dry flue gas, high-humidity dust, and mild corrosion. The structure is heat-resistant, anti-aging, and fatigue-resistant, ensuring smooth, continuous operation without jamming or deviation, resulting in exceptional system stability.
The rapping rhythm is controllable, allowing adjustment of the rapping frequency and interval based on dust concentration, ash accumulation rate, and flue gas conditions. This on-demand cleaning ensures thorough cleaning while avoiding over-rapping that could damage equipment or cause secondary dust generation.
The modular design ensures precise transmission, low operating noise, and a low failure rate. Disassembly and maintenance are convenient, and the high versatility of parts allows for precise matching with various electrostatic precipitator electric field structures, ensuring stable and long-term equipment performance.
Suitable for a wide range of dry and wet electrostatic precipitator anode and cathode cleaning systems. Primarily used in industrial flue gas treatment applications involving high temperature, high humidity, and high dust adhesion, such as thermal power generation, heat supply, metallurgical sintering, cement kiln tail gas, chemical tail gas, waste incineration, and biomass combustion, this automatic dust removal system is an essential component of electrostatic precipitators.
The equipment comes standard with a complete set of rapping motors, drive shafts, rapping hammers, bearing seats, sealing and protective components, and fixed transmission accessories, offering strong completeness and wide versatility. The overall structure is robust, wear-resistant, impact-resistant, and not prone to jamming, simplifying daily maintenance. Customization is supported for various structural forms, including side rapping and top rapping. A customized rapping configuration can be matched according to the electrostatic precipitator's electric field specifications, housing structure, and dust characteristics, ensuring compatibility with new and old dry and wet electrostatic precipitators for installation, replacement, and upgrades.
The rapping system is the core system for automatic dust removal in electrostatic precipitators. If the rapping system malfunctions, the hammer falls off, or the shaft gets stuck, it will cause the electrodes to accumulate dust and the electric field to fail. It is necessary to regularly check the transmission status, hammer head tightness, and motor operation, and carry out timely maintenance to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of the electric field.
