Atomizing spray gun

The atomizing spray gun is a core atomizing spray accessory for wet desulfurization, flue gas cooling, zero wastewater discharge, and denitrification auxiliary treatment.
It is mainly installed inside desulfurization towers, flues, and spray evaporation towers.
It typically employs a dual-fluid, high-pressure reflux atomization structure, relying on the principle of gas-liquid mixing and pressurization to break down desulfurization slurry, acid and al

Overview

High-temperature, sulfur-, dust-, and acid-mist-containing flue gas comes into full contact with the fine droplets, rapidly completing reactions such as acid-alkali neutralization, flue gas cooling, dust adsorption, and wastewater evaporation and solidification. This effectively improves the comprehensive purification effect of desulfurization, denitrification, dust removal, and demisting, solving problems such as uneven atomization, excessively large droplets, insufficient reaction, and water carryover in traditional spraying. It is a key terminal atomization device for ultra-low emission flue gas treatment and wastewater resource utilization.

Features

The atomization effect is fine and stable. Utilizing gas-liquid synergistic crushing technology, it atomizes the medium into uniform micron-sized droplets. The atomized particle size is controllable, the spray coverage is wide, and there are no blind spots. The gas-liquid contact ratio is excellent, significantly improving the reaction efficiency between flue gas and the liquid, effectively enhancing the desulfurization, dust removal, cooling, and demisting effects.

The gun body and nozzle are made of 316L stainless steel, Hastelloy, and C276 high-strength, corrosion-resistant, and wear-resistant materials. They can withstand corrosion from sulfides, chloride ions, and acid/alkali media in flue gas, while resisting high-speed scouring by slurry particles. They are high-temperature resistant, anti-aging, and not prone to wear and orifice expansion, making them suitable for high-temperature, high-humidity, and highly corrosive industrial flue gas conditions, ensuring a long service life.

Excellent anti-clogging performance: The built-in large-flow, smooth channel and dead-angle-free sludge structure, combined with the gas-liquid self-purge design, effectively prevents slurry scaling and impurity accumulation from clogging. It is suitable for spraying high-solids-content, high-viscosity, and impurity-containing desulfurization slurries and wastewater, ensuring long-term operation without clogging or continuous spraying.

It boasts exceptional adaptability to various operating conditions, supporting flexible adjustment of the gas-liquid ratio. The atomized particle size and injection flow rate can be adjusted according to flue gas concentration, temperature, and treatment load, maintaining stable atomization effects under both high and low load conditions. This eliminates problems such as large droplets scouring the tower wall, localized dry walls, scaling, and deviation, ensuring balanced and stable system operation.

It features reliable overall sealing performance, equipped with dedicated high-temperature resistant and corrosion-resistant sealing components. The gun body has a secure and tight seal, preventing liquid leakage, air leakage, and flue gas backflow. It can operate continuously at high loads for 24 hours with low operating noise and an extremely low failure rate, making it suitable for long-term stable operation under harsh plant conditions.

Applicable Scenarios

Widely applicable to wet desulfurization tower spray purification, flue gas cooling, desulfurization wastewater atomization and evaporation, denitrification agent injection, acid mist neutralization treatment, and other scenarios. Primarily used in flue gas treatment projects for thermal power generation, heating, metallurgical sintering, cement kiln tail, chemical tail gas, waste incineration, and biomass combustion, this equipment is suitable for complex flue gas conditions characterized by high corrosion, high temperature, high dust content, and high chloride ion concentration. It is a core atomizing component for deep flue gas purification and zero-discharge wastewater treatment.

Maintenance Design

The equipment comes standard with a complete gun body, wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant nozzles, sealing connectors, fixed flanges, and leak-proof protective sleeves. It features a complete set, modular design, easy assembly and disassembly, and wide versatility. It supports direct injection, 45°, and 90° multi-angle injection structures, and is compatible with top-mounted, side-mounted, and angled installation methods. Standard, wear-resistant, explosion-proof, and high-strength corrosion-resistant models can be matched according to tower diameter, flue size, medium concentration, and operating temperature. It is compatible with new installations, replacements, and upgrades of existing desulfurization and dust removal equipment. Daily maintenance is simple, requiring only periodic checks of nozzle wear and blockage, cleaning of flow channels, and replacement of aged seals. Long-term maintenance costs are extremely low.

Note

Atomizing spray guns are designed for fine atomization, uniform mist distribution, and high-efficiency reaction. They are core terminal components for flue gas desulfurization, wastewater evaporation, and flue gas conditioning. Nozzle wear, flow channel blockage, and poor atomization will directly lead to a decline in purification efficiency, scale buildup on the tower wall, and excessive water carryover in the flue gas. Regular inspection and maintenance and timely replacement of worn parts are necessary to ensure long-term stability of atomization effect and system operating conditions.
