Mixer

Is a core mixing and mixing device in wet desulfurization, wastewater treatment, and slurry preparation systems.
It is mainly installed inside tanks such as desulfurization slurry tanks, neutralization reaction tanks, wastewater sedimentation tanks, and reagent mixing tanks.
Driven by a motor, the agitator shaft and blades continuously rotate and stir, preventing slurry sedimentation and powder agglomeration.

Overview

This ensures thorough mixing and reaction of lime, limestone, neutralizing agents, and water, guaranteeing uniform slurry concentration and stable water pH. It effectively solves problems such as slurry stratification, sedimentation, bottom agglomeration, and incomplete reaction, improving desulfurization reaction efficiency and wastewater treatment compliance rates. It is an essential accessory for stable operation and efficient reagent utilization in wet dust removal and desulfurization systems.

Features

It possesses strong circulating mixing capabilities, a wide mixing coverage area with no dead zones, effectively dispersing deposited slurry and powder particles, preventing material accumulation, agglomeration, and hardening at the bottom of the tank, continuously maintaining a uniform and stable slurry concentration, and ensuring a continuous and thorough desulfurization reaction.

The main shaft and impellers are constructed from carbon steel lined with rubber, stainless steel, and corrosion-resistant materials, making them resistant to acid and alkali corrosion, slurry erosion, and wear. They are durable and can withstand the complex slurry conditions of desulfurization processes involving high corrosion, high viscosity, and high solid particle content. They are resistant to rust and wear, resulting in a long service life.

Equipped with an industrial-grade geared motor, the system offers high transmission torque, smooth operation, low noise, and low energy consumption. The stirring speed is uniform and controllable, supporting frequency conversion speed regulation to adapt to different slurry concentrations and tank volumes, meeting multiple requirements for mixing light reagents and preventing sedimentation of heavy slurries.

The overall structural design is reasonable, with sufficient shaft rigidity and strong torsional resistance, ensuring smooth operation without swaying or severe vibration. The scientifically arranged impellers provide excellent liquid circulation, effectively improving reagent utilization, reducing waste, and lowering desulfurization operating costs.

The equipment boasts excellent sealing performance, employing a combination of a specialized mechanical seal and a packing seal at the shaft end. This effectively prevents slurry leakage and water vapor backflow, providing a high level of protection. It is suitable for humid, dusty, and corrosive environments, enabling continuous and stable operation 24 hours a day with an extremely low failure rate.

Suitable Scenarios

Widely applicable to wet desulfurization systems, including slurry tanks, lime slurry mixing tanks, acid-base neutralization tanks, wastewater sedimentation reaction tanks, and reagent dissolution and mixing tanks. Primarily used in flue gas desulfurization and dust removal processes in thermal power generation, heating, metallurgical sintering, cement kiln tails, chemical tail gas, and waste incineration. Suitable for mixing and preventing sedimentation of various corrosive, high-solids-content, and viscous industrial slurries.

Maintenance Design

The equipment comes standard with a drive motor, gearbox, extended mixing shaft, corrosion-resistant mixing blades, shaft end sealing components, and mounting base. It is a complete set, easy to install, and widely versatile. Supports top-mounted, side-mounted, and vertical installation methods. Custom models (standard, corrosion-resistant, high-temperature resistant, and explosion-proof) can be matched according to tank volume, slurry concentration, and corrosion conditions. Compatible with both new and upgraded desulfurization and wet electrostatic precipitator water system tanks. Daily maintenance is simple, requiring only periodic checks of sealing, shaft vibration, and impeller tightness, as well as regular lubrication. Long-term maintenance costs are extremely low.

Note

The agitator is crucial for slurry mixing, preventing settling and bottom formation, and improving reaction efficiency. It is a key component for stabilizing water quality and slurry conditions in the desulfurization system. Prolonged shutdown can lead to bottom material hardening, impeller corrosion and deformation, and seal leakage. Therefore, reasonable start-up and shutdown frequencies and regular maintenance are necessary to ensure efficient and stable operation of the desulfurization system.
