Oxidation blower

The oxidation blower is the core aeration and oxygen supply equipment in a wet desulfurization system.
Primarily installed in the slurry pool area of the desulfurization tower, it provides a forced oxidation gas source specifically for limestone-gypsum desulfurization processes.
The equipment continuously delivers fresh air to the slurry at the bottom of the tower via high-pressure blowing, ensuring that the oxygen in the air fully contacts and oxidizes the calcium sulfite in the slurry

It is an indispensable key power equipment for wet desulfurization systems.


Features

Strong oxygen supply and aeration capacity, stable wind pressure, and sufficient air volume, evenly distributing air to all areas of the slurry pool without aeration dead zones. This allows for complete oxidation of slurry reactants, significantly improving the desulfurization reaction conversion rate and effectively avoiding the desulfurization efficiency decline caused by calcium sulfite accumulation.

The fan impeller and casing are made of wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials, suitable for the harsh working conditions of desulfurization sites, including humid, dusty environments and trace amounts of corrosive gases. They are resistant to airflow erosion, not easily corroded or worn, and maintain stable performance under long-term high-load operation, resulting in a long service life.

Utilizing a Roots-type high-pressure air supply structure, it features high air pressure, large air volume, and strong air supply stability, unaffected by fluctuations in slurry level or system resistance. This ensures a continuous and constant aeration effect, guaranteeing balanced and stable oxidation conditions within the tower, and adaptability to high and low load switching in desulfurization systems.

With low operating energy consumption and high power conversion efficiency, it is equipped with a national standard energy-saving motor, providing smooth transmission, low noise, and minimal vibration. It can operate continuously for 24 hours without interruption, suitable for long-term, uninterrupted industrial desulfurization operations, resulting in significant energy savings and reduced system operating costs.

The unit boasts excellent sealing performance, strong adaptability of inlet and outlet air ports, concentrated air supply with no air leakage or backflow, and low air pressure loss. It can precisely match the air volume and pressure required for desulfurization slurry oxidation, effectively improving gypsum crystallization purity and facilitating the resource recovery and utilization of desulfurization byproducts.

Widely compatible with various wet desulfurization tower slurry pool forced oxidation aeration scenarios, it is a dedicated supporting equipment for limestone-gypsum desulfurization processes. It is mainly used in flue gas desulfurization projects such as thermal power generation, thermal heating, metallurgical sintering, cement kiln tail, chemical tail gas, waste incineration, and biomass combustion. It is suitable for oxidation and oxygen supply conditions in large, medium, and small desulfurization systems, ensuring sufficient desulfurization reaction and stable system operation.

Maintenance Design

The equipment comes standard with a complete set including a blower, corrosion-resistant impeller, drive motor, inlet and outlet silencers, vibration damping base, sealed pipelines and connectors, offering convenient installation and wide versatility. Supports various models including standard corrosion-resistant, explosion-proof, and silent models. Corresponding air pressure and volume specifications can be matched based on the desulfurization tower volume, slurry level, and system processing air volume, ensuring compatibility with both new and upgraded desulfurization systems. Daily maintenance is simple, requiring only periodic checks of fan vibration, noise, and bearing temperature; timely lubrication; cleaning of inlet and outlet debris; and replacement of aged seals. Long-term operation boasts a low failure rate and controllable maintenance costs.

Oxidation fans primarily function to force aeration oxidation, stabilize the desulfurization reaction, and improve gypsum purity. They are the core power equipment for the normal and efficient operation of wet desulfurization systems. Insufficient fan air volume, reduced air pressure, or shutdown will directly lead to incomplete oxidation, decreased desulfurization efficiency, and excessive emissions.
