The powder silo system is a complete set of supporting systems for the collection, storage, and sealed unloading of industrial powders.
It is a core storage equipment at the downstream end of dust removal processes, mainly composed of the silo body,
silo top dust collector, arch-breaking device, material level monitoring, unloading conveyor, and sealing and airtight components.

Overview

It is primarily used for collecting and storing various dry powder materials such as cement powder, lime powder, mineral powder, sawdust powder, and grain powder. Combined with dust removal equipment, it achieves centralized dust recovery, sealed storage, and automated unloading and transfer. It can completely solve problems such as scattered dust, material waste, messy stacking, and low efficiency of manual cleaning, effectively ensuring dust-free operation in the workshop, material recycling, and continuous operation of the production line. It is a core complete storage system for dust removal production lines in building materials, mining, chemical, and powder processing industries.


Features

The entire structure adopts a fully enclosed storage configuration, ensuring complete closed storage, feeding, and unloading of powder. This eliminates dust spillage and secondary dust generation, significantly improving the workshop working environment, meeting environmentally friendly dust-free production requirements, and preventing excessive powder emissions.

The silo body is constructed from thickened steel plates, modularly welded for high structural strength, compressive strength, and durability. It can withstand full-load powder pressure and negative pressure impacts from equipment, resisting deformation and cracking, making it suitable for long-term continuous outdoor and workshop storage conditions.

Equipped with a dedicated silo top dust collector, it filters positive pressure dust generated during material feeding in real time, balancing the internal air pressure and preventing silo pressure buildup, dust emission, and bulging. This ensures smooth feeding, stable internal pressure, and compliant exhaust.

Features an intelligent anti-bridging, material level monitoring, and airlock unloading combination structure, effectively solving problems such as powder bridging due to moisture, agglomeration and blockage, air leakage when empty, and overflow when full. This ensures uniform, continuous, and stable material unloading, guaranteeing uninterrupted material supply to the production line.

The system boasts a high degree of integration, enabling automated closed-loop operation by linking dust collection, conveying, and unloading equipment. It supports unattended operation, featuring low noise, low energy consumption, and a low failure rate, significantly improving the efficiency of powder recovery and storage/transfer.

Maintenance Design

The entire system comes standard with a standard silo, silo top dust collector, material level monitoring device, arch-breaking device, airlock unloading valve, conveying connectors, and sealing protection accessories. It is highly integrated, easy to assemble on-site, and widely applicable. Supports vertical and horizontal structures, and can be customized with different tonnages and volumes. Custom configurations can be matched to powder specific gravity, ash production, and site space. It can be paired with screw conveyors and pneumatic conveyors for various unloading methods, and is compatible with both new and existing dust collection production lines for installation and upgrades. Daily maintenance only requires periodic cleaning of the dust collector filter element on the silo top and checking the unloading seal and material level monitoring status. Operation and maintenance are simple and cost-effective.

The powder silo system focuses on sealed storage, dust collection and recovery, and automated unloading. It is a core set of equipment for the resource utilization of powder dust. Clogging of the silo top filter element, failure of the unloading airlock, and malfunction of the material level monitoring can easily lead to ash emission, material blockage, and pressure buildup. Regular inspection and maintenance are necessary to ensure the silo system is sealed, environmentally friendly, and operates stably.
